Guam Greyhound Track Closing

The closing of the greyhound track in Guam on November 7 has led hundreds of greyhounds to be sent to rescue. Approximately 150 dogs were given away to local residents, though most were not sterilized and some were in poor health. On December 10, an agreement was made to have the remaining dogs either adopted or relocated. Local animal rescue group Guam Animals in Need (GAIN) has been actively searching for groups to bring greys to the US, including local greys who  have been found abandoned in the Guam jungle.
